| The sixteenth century Nobody Inn is set in rolling Devon countryside between the Haldon Hills and the Teign Valley about six miles to the south-west of Exeter. Although modern the history of the Inn can be traced back to 1591 it was not until two hundred years later that it became the New Inn and another one hundred and sixty before it was renamed The Nobody Inn. Today The Nobody Inn is one of the country's leading inns - renowned for its imaginative wine and whisky list, comprehensive selection of local cheeses and creative cooking based on fresh local produce. Low ceilings, blackened beams, inglenook fireplace, antique furniture and timeless atmosphere retain The Nobody's unspoilt old world charm. Comments from a customer, We all eat inside and I have to say everyone enjoyed their meal, and the bill didn’t give us indigestion ether. The staff were very friendly and helpful, well done! next time We will book and stay the night. |
